St Andrews - Robin Lawson
Robin Lawson is the Scottish Conservative & Unionist councillor for St Andrews.
Born in Glasgow, and educated in Edinburgh and at Oxford, Robin worked in international trade and finance in Europe, USA, and London before joining Bank of Scotland Group and then Morrison Construction where he headed up the International Division based in Edinburgh.
He and his wife have lived in St Andrews since 2007, where Robin continued working in the property sector. Two of their four children were educated at St Andrews University.

- The strength of this United Kingdom which must be maintained at all costs
- The unique appeal of St Andrews which we must nurture and promote
- The need to improve infrastructure and transport links before building houses
Robin will:

- Oppose any attempts by the SNP to weaken the Union
- Support tourism and hospitality initiatives which provide jobs and revenue to St Andrews
- Work to improve reduce traffic flows, and support a major new Park and Ride.
- Listen to residents’ concerns, and voice these in appropriate Council meetings
